Teresa Knight, Artist

Teresa has always been an artist. Her family used to draw and paint to pass the frequent rainy days at the cottage. Painting developed into a habit, love and vocation that continues to be very rewarding.

Education

Teresa obtained her B.A. in Studio Arts and Bachelor of Education in Art from the University of British Columbia in 1994 and 1996 respectively.

Teaching

Teresa has taught several art courses in Vancouver BC; at the West End Community Centre, Capilano College,  Langara College Continuing Education, and for the North Vancouver Board of Education. She now accepts students in the Comox Valley.

Artist's Statement

"In recent paintings I have softened lines and details to allow for a dream-like, 'other' quality to emerge, and to focus on the essence of the painting."
